How did it feel winning the set of global knives? How will you plan to use them?

I am from South Korea and haven’t been in Singapore for very long. I’ve only recently learnt how to cook! I was very excited to win the knives, and I cant wait to use the 20-cm Cook’s Knife. I’ll also buy a whole loaf of bread from Baker & Cook and use the bread knife to slice the loaf and make fresh sandwiches.

How long have you been coming to Brettschneider’s Baking & Cooking School?

I searched the internet for cooking schools in Singapore and attended quite a few different places before finding one with the quality and high standards that I was happy with. I have now completed a couple of cooking classes at Brettschneider’s Baking & Cooking School!

What keeps you coming back?

I have 2.5 year old twins and want to learn how to cook healthy meals for them. I want to take every cooking class at the school so I can become a very good cook, and learn to make a dish without using a recipe.

If you could learn to make one thing from Chef Jenna, what would it be and who would you serve it to?

My husband often invites work colleagues and business associates home for dinner and I often cook Chinese, Korean or Japanese, but I really want to master beautifully plated Western dishes. I want to learn to be creative, and impress with simple, healthy food that is pretty on the plate.
